In short, house call, or in-home grooming, is a luxury service in which the stylist comes into your home with their equipment to groom your pet. They use their own equipment to do so, but may need access to an exterior outlet, water source, etc. This type of grooming is usually best for pets who don’t like car rides, or are not very comfortable in a typical grooming shop!

When a stylist comes to your home for a grooming service, they will typically have all, if not most, of their equipment needed. However, our stylist(s) do not have grooming vans which would include the water tanks and power outlets. This means that if you request a house call service, you will be required to provide an outlet suitable for 120 volts, or 15+ amps, a clean water source and bath tub or shower and finally, an open space for the groomer to set up their table and equipment.

Yes! We will never discriminate based on your dogs individual needs. We always like to see the pet first before declining services, and 9/10 times, we are able to accommodate! We only ask that you are 100% upfront and honest about any medical or behavioral conditions that may effect the grooming process. This is to ensure our stylist(s) are prepared for your pet and don’t catch any surprises.

Do not fret! Every pet is different and requires different care. We will do our best to inform you on any new or reoccurring issues that may pop up during a service and our stylist(s) are there for your pet so that they have a voice. If at any time your pet seems too stressed, or if you want to stop the service, please let us know!

Pricing for our services heavily depend on your pets individual needs, along with coat condition, size, behavior, etc. We have a set, “staring at” price of $90. This could stay at $90, go down, or go up depending on the above factors. A typical price range for a haircut on a dog between 10 and 30lbs is $120. We typically see an ‘arrival -leave’ rate of 1.5/2.5 hours. With house call grooming, the breakdown is as follows: 15m for set up, 10-20m for bath, 10-30m for drying, 30m-1.5hrs for haircutting and then finally, 15m for pack up. This timeline heavily depends on your pet’s coat and size, as well as any issues before, during or after the groom.
